light weight plant cutter needed?
I need a very light weight cutter for chopping my plants down in winter. They dont make one light enough yet so who could i get to make me one? It needs to be long handled aswell as i am in a wheelchair. Hope someone can help.
Look for Japanese tools. Japanese hedge trimmers have long sharp blades and long handles. Some brands only weigh 1.5 pounds. They work well to cut down perennials and grasses. If you are looking for a power tool, there are cordless hedge trimmers but they are much heavier.
If You Want to cut wood thicker than about 3/8″, I really like the Florian ratchet mini loppers 2.5 pounds.
